Sedation Dentistry by Dr. Saso – Working with You to Treat Your Patients

We Appreciate Your Referrals

We know the obstacles that you and your patients face with referrals, so we’ve made the process simple and satisfying. We provide specialized skills and friendly professionalism, so you can feel confident that patients will receive the same standard of excellent care here that they enjoy at your dental office. Consider referring your patients to our office if they suffer from:

  • Dental anxiety or other panic disorders
  • A hyperactive gag reflex
  • Difficulty numbing with local anaesthesia

Sedation dentistry at our office is also appropriate for patients who need a large amount of dental work completed in as few visits as possible.

What We Do

A great number of people find the prospect of a dental visit very stressful. Anxious patients can cause stress at your busy office, too, slowing down procedures or perhaps even failing to show up for an appointment. Studies show that about 20% of the population is very nervous or terrified of dentistry. Dr. Saso can treat these patients effectively using IV sedation.

All following procedures can be completed under IV sedation or general anaesthesia:

  • Restorative dentistry
  • Endodontics
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Immediate dentures and implant-retained dentures surgery, including perio surgery
  • Limited implant surgery (no advanced grafting required)
  • CEREC restorations
  • Soft tissue laser procedures

When You Refer

We will most likely see your patients within a week, with emergency appointments available. Typically, patients will undergo treatment in one to two weeks. Providing a smooth process means we’ll build a relationship with your office staff, ensuring the efficient exchange of information. After we complete a procedure, you’ll receive a follow up letter, email, or call that gives you an updated status for your records. Returning healthier patients to your care as soon as possible is our goal.

Who Is Referred

Most of the time, dentists refer their regular patients to us. We know that a patient’s care is important to you, and will work hard to meet and exceed your treatment expectations. Occasionally, dentists refer those who are not the practice’s regular patients. They may have called or visited your office due to a dental emergency. In this case, just let us know how to proceed and we will formulate an appropriate treatment plan.

We treat generally healthy patients aged 10 to 80. If you’d like to arrange a referral to the proper specialist for very young, elderly, or medically compromised patients, we can help.
